1934 Season
1934 - New York Yankees Champions

In the National league, St. Louis was hardly pushed at all during the season finishing 12 games ahead of the New York Giants.
The World Series was a terrific seven game series. The Cardinals surrendered a 3-2 series lead and lost in seven games to New York.
